Twisted Muscle: This mutation is the most important one in that it increases melee damage +25% and a better chance to cripple limbs.Grounded: This mutation grants an additional 100 energy resistance at the expense of energy damage.Mitigated by Class Freak and with 15 points in Agility, you won’t miss it. Scaly Skin: You’ll gain +50 damage and energy resist at the expense of 50 AP.Speed Demon: The +20% movement speed will have you dispatching enemies swiftly and making escapes quickly.You can use it to gain a tactical advantage when planning your stealth attacks: death from above is a favorite of mine. Marsupial: This mutation increases your jump height, and in combination with Stranger In Numbers is just a lot of fun.Healing Factor: How about +300 health regeneration while not in combat? Yes, please.It also allows you to fall from heights more gradually, which any respectable ninja would need. For melee, high strength is essential, and while bird bones will take this down a point (4 points without Class Freak), It’s too good to pass up. Bird Bones: This mutation gives +4 Agility.Light Footed: With one point in this Agility perk, you’ll never trigger mines or floor based traps while sneaking.The build relies on 7 mutations, so that is a substantial bonus. Stranger In Numbers: This Charisma perk increases the positive effects of your mutations when playing with a team.Class Freak: To mitigate the negative effects of the mutations by 75%, I put all 3 points into this Luck card.To hold on to these mutations, you’ll need two points in this Luck perk. Starched Genes: For this build, mutations are essential.Additionally, you are able to craft tier 5 melee weapons. Makeshift Warrior: Maxed out, this Intelligence perk provides protection to your melee weapons as they will break 50% slower.Radicool: This Endurance perk grants up to 5 additional points of strength the greater your rads: strength=melee damage.Throwing knives are silent and do a fair bit of damage for those hard to reach places. Fire In The Hole: This Perception perk will allow you to see a throwing arch when tossing thrown weapons and have them fly 15% further.Night Eyes allows you to sneak around in the dark, which is where you want to live. As a stealth build, you can’t go around with the Pipboy light on. It allows you night vision between the times of 6pm to 6am. Night Eyes: I put 2 points in this Perception perk.Adrenaline: Gain +6 damage for 30 seconds per kill.If you employ the stealth blade mod, you will bump that up to 3.5. Ninja: Sneak attacks with melee weapons do 3X normal damage.Incisor: With this perk, your melee weapons ignore 75% of your target’s armor.In combination with a full 15 points of strength, you’ll be dealing a fair amount of damage even without the sneak multiplier. The Gladiator perk cards will increase your one-handed melee by 60%. I considered using one a piece in order to use Martial Artist, but when using an already fast combat knife, speed and weapon weight afforded by that perk was less beneficial than straight damage. Feel good about sinking 9 points into your specialty. ![]() Gladiator, Expert Gladiator, and Master Gladiator: 3 points each.With Agility at 15, you’ll have the maximum 45. Evasive: Maxed out, this Agility perk will provide an additional 3 damage and energy resist per agility point.The Shadow of Death is built for speed, and uses a fast one-handed weapon, so 2 seconds should be enough. ![]() Suppressor: With 3 points in this Charisma perk, you’ll reduce your target’s damage output by 30% for 2 seconds after you attack. ![]()
